Chanuka in Ohio sate Capitol

In honor of Chanuka, the Ohio statehouse invited Rabbi Gershon Avtzon  to speak with the staff and legislators about Chanuka and to pray for the people in Eretz Yisroel. Rabbi Avtzon held a special Chanukah gathering at the office of Governor Mike Dewine and then led a public prayer in the Ohio Senate.
 
 

19 Kislev in Yeshiva

Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati, directed by Rabbi Gershon Avtzon, hosted the annual 19-20 Kislev Seuda in Southern Ohio. Local Shluchim, Anash and  Balebatim joined the bochurim for a full Melava Malka and Farbrengen.
 
The Melava Malka started with everyone watching a sicha of the Rebbe. They heard the story of Yud-tes Kislev and a Siyum Masechta by Rabbi Eliyahu Simpson. The Keynote speaker was Rabbi Levi Cunin - Shliach to Indiana University. Mr. Yaakov Komainko (Columbus, Ohio) shared his journey to Chassidus and experiences of being a chassidish entrepreneur in the workplace. After joyous dancing and bentching, everyone sat for hours listening to the main Farbrengen led by the Chavrei Hanhalla.

ROSH CHODESH KISLEV IN CINCINNATI

 

Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati, under the leadership of Rabbi Gershon Avtzon, hosted the annual Rosh Chodesh Kislev Seuda and Farbrengen for the Shluchim and Anash in southern Ohio. The Talmidei Hashluchim arranged a beautiful Seuda in which divrei Hisorirus were given by local Shliach Rabbi Sholom B. Kalmanson,  Chavrei Hanhalla Rabbi Mendy Turen, Shliach to Springfield Illinois. Following a Yom-Tov Maariv,and dancing,  the Talmidim sat for hours listening to Rabbi Shmuel Friedman - Shliach to Cleveland Ohio. They were all inspired to better the personal Avodah, Hiskashrus, and special Shlichus of Kabalas Pnei Moshiach Tzidkeinu.
